I am excited to present a photo/journal my adventures through this very transitional time. I imagine it will help me to process India, Thailand and the life in-between. For those of you who don't know the details, Steve and I leave for New Delhi on Sept. 16th. Our return ticket is set for March 9th.
Our genral plans as of yet are:
1. Travel the North for 2 months.
2. Fly to Thailand and take a TEFL course in Ban Phe (an hour from Pattaya where my father lives) for a month.
3. Travel back to India and take a contract in India for teaching english as a foreign language.
This blog will travel with us and connect us to all who wish to enjoy it. It feels vulnerable to be so out there with my thoughts and photos without any im
Speaking of inspiration. A dear friend of mine from Vancouver has been diagnosed with cancer. He has already blessed my life with many gifts, including spending voluntary hours on a website that I created: www.cunite.org
His generosity has touched so many people that he knows and so many others that he doesn't.
Thank God that this love will return to him. Yesterday I did a little thing... but kinda big too... in his honor. I donated 13 inches of my hair to Locks of Love to make wigs for people with cancer.
